Step 1: Fix the weak fence posts

Though removing rust is a heavy task yet you can do it with proper guidance and dedication. Step 4: Condition & Paint

Next, repaint your iron fence using good metal paint for a better finish and appearance. Note, while painting use rubber gloves instead of paint glove as it tends to leave the fibers behind on the paint.

Step 5: Controlling the rust
·         Use sandpaper and scrub all over the rusted fences
·         Take a cloth dipped in mineral spirits and wipe over the rusted fences
·         Apply a Primer + Paint. Make sure you use a metal paint
